In addition to being recognized as the sole scientific and specialized journal in this field, the Scientific Quarterly of Theatre seeks to:
Provide audiences and scholars with up-to-date scientific research in the areas of dramatic texts and performance.
Introduce Iranian–Islamic theatrical performances and performative rituals to an international audience by publishing the journal in international languages in the near future, thereby fostering dialogue between Iranian and non-Iranian researchers, while fully adhering to the laws and regulations of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Expand comparative studies in the fields of dramatic literature and theatrical performance and employ this approach as a recognized research methodology.
